There is a great book called X1, The Royal Navy's Mystery Submarine. It Covers X1, M1-3, Surcouf and a few others. It a good read.

Had a one or two casualties due to masking. Green-Grey needs a little cleanup

I had a little plate made by nameitplates for the stand.

Thanks, I am really enjoying these Mirco Mir kits at the moment

Nearly there, deck painting and then varnishing

Decals and washes next, I have had to make a set of small clamps for the top of the stand as the kit did not have anything to sup[ort it on the base.

I have, I want to build a British X1 and you need to butcher a British K class to create one.
I would like a 1:72 Surcouf

Are you a fan of Cruiser subs too?
