    1/144 VIIC/41.

Yep, managed to get one at a reasonable price and yes, you probably guessed it, it be another crusty-rusty.

I built, bent, dent and broke the sub and it has had its crusty application.

The pics are from the first pass of weathering and only part done, other side needs doing.

Cheers Dave, the colours are vivid as some were still wet and the flash from the camera highlights them, once dry the colour will tone down...I hope.

It is going to be a free standing piece using the original stand, this makes it easier for display and also for shipping when I sell it...I already have one I made on a oak plinth for a client, who balked at payment so I decided to keep that one.

Cheers Steve, hoping, if not too cold, to get in the workshed tomorrow and do a bit more.

Er...nope, will not have it finished by the weekend John...windy, cold and very rainy....a bit like the Atlantic so, I be buttoned up and not venturing forth into the workshed until Monday at the earliest....just hope the shed spiders don't start moving and pinching things.

Thank you Jean-Marc, glad you like it. This sub is now finished, see linked thread.

There is also my latest version, the cutaway interior sunken sub, see linked thread.

                          Thanks again.
