Hi i am building the Robbe U47 & need to know what size ESC, (amps.)
to buy does not tell you in instructions can anybody tell me.

Hi Welcome.
I believe it tells you to buy a Robbe Rokraft speedo in the instruction booklet, thats what they reccommend, but they are expensive...you can use a different make of speedo as long as you ensure the amp rating is above the motor current draw. MTRONIKS make good ones for 1/2 the price of the Robbe one, just get one that will be rated at about 25 amps and you should be ok...just fuse it to be on the safe side. -

Subzero says an ESC rated at 25amps and make sure it is a forward/reverse one and put an in-line fuse between the battery and the ESC to protect it from burning out and you should be okComment
