Having made this model myself and knowing the sizes of these pieces very well I am absolutely staggered by the amount of detail and the size of the components you are working with. This model is absolutely superb and a pure joy to watch it go together.

Wow, this is quite stunning. Do you work with tweezers to do this in this scale?

        Thanks guys!

Tweezers are in constant use during this build.

Some parts are so small, that without the tweezers it would be impossible to work on them.

Im back in the shipyard, and work started on the 88mm gun crew.

        Im using Warriors set.

After asembly i cut out the imitation of the 88mm projectile from the hands of the loader- i will turn the new one from brass.

        TBC...

Projectile was turned from copper wire, and soldered inside the brass tubing.

            Hi:

Would you mind me asking how the best way would be to turn soft metal or if there is a way to do without a small mill? Maybe using a dremel chuck to hold the piece but not sure what would tool would shape it while spinning. I have the little workstation that acts like a small drill press. Thanks again, Siara!

Thats exactly how i do it. Because i dont own the lathe just yet, im turning the wires, and tubing in the dremell tool. I bought the small diameter chuck for it, so i have choice of small, and large diameter.

The key is to use perfectly straight piece of wire- otherwise it will not turn right.

              Hope it helps.

No problem. You are always welcome.

                  Meanwhile.

Couple of test shots of the general layout of the scene:

I have aded the sights for the aimer, and the bracket only on the other side.

The whole gun was sprayed Chaos Black primer.

The support on the aimers side is extended to fit the figure, and on the other side one is in stowed possition.

                    TBC...

Looks fantastic with the paint job mate. cant wait to see it with the weathering effect. I had to laugh the other day, this is not a p take just an observation, your man holding the ammo at the back looks like Jonesey from Dads Army.

                      Sorry.

                        Thanks Andy!

I started painting the 88mm gun:

Gun is ready to receive its share of oils, washes, and chips.

I also applied the base colour on figures:
