    Under Construction...1/350 Airfix H.M.S. Triumph...Nuclear submarine

I've just finished this, but here are the build pictures, prior to adding the silicone.

I only needed the upper hull and I dispensed with most of the periscope gear etc.....So I was left with a grand total of nine pieces to glue together!!

Photos 2 and 3 are obviously the wrong way around........

The first stage was the kit construction and painting.

Then I fitted the hull into some polystyrene

Then a layer of tile adhesive.

A layer of polyfilla was applied to form the basic waves, ready for the silicone

Then, as you know, I always use cheap acrylic paints to cover large areas such as the sea. This I built up with various shades of blue/ green....

I intended to put this writing between the pictures, but couldn't figure how to!

    Cheers,

    Ron

Thanks Ian, I've now added the silicone and took pictures of the finished boat, so I'll post them in 'Completed' soon.

      Cheers,

      Ron

Looks like another classic Ron build in the making

Ron to write inbetween the pictures, after you have uploaded them put the curser ( pulsing stick thing ) behind the picture you wish to write infront of then as you write the piture moves forward infornt of the words

Thanks for your post Joe and also thanks Ian for your information. I appreciate it.....

I've added the silicone and finished the submarine. The pictures are in Ships and Boats - Completed Submarines.

Thanks to everyone for your input during the rather rapid construction!

                Cheers,

                Ron
