Up and coming events, where to look?

Hi, is there a calendar or some such thing showing all the up and coming model events?
EG: shows, fairs, auctions, exhibitions, etc?
Never been to one, but love to see a show, fair, etc.
I'd be interested in any that are on in the South East area.

Bit late in the year now....doubt there will be many before spring

I will be Telford bound on Thursday.Friday Raf Cosford and pick up wristband Friday.

Is it worth joining the IPMS?
I assume most of the model shows are open to the public, not just IPMS members?

I never did.......didnt see much advantage

At some shows you get in a little earlier than joe public

Found summit local to me, North Surrey Show, on the 1st of February. At the Banstead Community Hall (Park Road, SM7 3AJ, behind the Woolpack) from about 10am to about 4pm.

Im wrong end of country so no idea on that one

Ive been to shows you can walk round in an hour and ones that take a few hours.......never done scale model world cos that takes a couple of days apparently

Either way if its on your doorstep you got to go.......take plenty of cash just in case ?
