It was great to catch up with you guys. I wish I could have stayed chatting a bit longer but I was kind of on the clock.
Looked as though you guys had all found some interesting stuff to buy, although Barry had resisted the temptation so far (he had Sunday too though so I think he was properly sizing up his options first!)
For my part I bought 3 WW1 pilot figures from Black Dog and a 1/35 Bronco Comet plus a few odds and sods.
It was a good but exhausting day (I was up at 5 and didn't get back home till 10:45 that night) but I'm glad I was able to say a quick hello to: Dave, Adrian, Colin, Barry, Steve and Robert. BTW, I thought the ale me and Barry had was pretty good, wished I could have had another!
See you all (probably) next year!
Cheers

The original idea for recognisable clothing - back in the day when it was customary to include a bucket on any ground-based diorama - was a bucket on the head. This was not popular - although I wish the guys had told me before I turned up at Cosford! As a result we all went for the inconspicuous look!Comment

Yes, it was great to see you all and, yes that was a nice pint Paul.
Well, temptation did get the better of me. I kept being drawn to the Zuki Mura stand and bought that 1/32 Raiden and one of their (rather pricey) chisels....
I did take a few pictures of some models that stood out for me. Mostly large scale planes.
The Airfix stand had a very nice 1/24 'car door' Tiffy

And one 1/48 that could tempt me, a 1/48 BP Defiant

WW1 was well represented and these Wingnut Wings look fantastic

ZM kits are superb - I was also tempted by this unusual looking bird

and this

Some more common aircraft were repesented of course:

Then there is this 1/32 B17 - that 39 inch wingspan does not look THAT big on the bench:

I have to say there were two HKM B17F's with traders for £280... I nearly gave in....
I loved this 1/32 P61 from Hobby Boss - it gives me a taste to start mine.

I did like this He177 Greif in RAF markings...

Exquisite airbrush work on this Me262

A beautiful Tammy 1/32 Mossie.

This 1/32 HKM B25 was beautifully weathered.

There were some jets and other non WW1/WW2 subjects I liked too...

As it's a 5 hour round trip I didn't make it. Did anyone take any car pics please, as military turns me right off!Comment

By the way, it is well worth the drive to attend. My drive was four hours each way, mind you I did it over two days, staying overnight in a hotel. Costs a bit but it was well worth it!Comment

Sorry - there were plenty of non-military exhibits there, but I did not get any pics as I don't really have any interest in them.
