    Militracks Overloon 2018

Hi everyone, Militracks 2018 is just around the corner.

For anyone living near Overloon (or anyone that happen to be in Holland the weekend) and has a day available at 19 or 20 May to see some German vehicles running about.
Entrance to the museum is also included in the fee, so more than enough to fill one's day.
More info can be found here: http://www.militracks.nl/en/

I would luv to be there mate. Overloon is by far the best military museum I have ever been to. It will be a terrific day for anyone who can make it. Sadly too far away for me. I hope you get to go. If so let us know how it all went

Hi Steve, definitely will be there and there's talk of a French King kitty joining the show too.:hugging-face:
I'll try to make a bunch of photos for all to see.

        Damn Fernando,
That is fantastic news, but I won't be able to make it. You know I would really love to be there. Please do take loads of pics for us to drool over. If it comes, I would love to see the King Kitty up close.
On another note, Where did Steve find that ugly figure standing next to the model tire. Must be one of the new Miniart modern kits that came out. The paint job isn't too bad though....
        Take care my friend

Go wash your mouth Fernando, there's no such thing as a King kitty :P

I'm going to miss Militracks sadly, which is a shame because watching and hearing a running Tiger II and it's Maybach engine are on my bucket list :worried:. Well, have fun there mate. Are you planning on riding on one of the vehicles?

          Cheers

Spent many hours there last year. Took lots of pics. A US Engineer vehicle paradise. Watched them drive around a WWII German 1ton halftrack as a bonus. PaulE

Wow Fernando. super pics!!! Thanks for posting them. This looks like something to put on the to-do list for next year. I can't believe how good the Tiger II w/Zimmerit looks after all these years. In fact all the vehicles look well restored. Too cool!!!

                  Yeah I'm jealous :tongue-out:

Heard that the Tiger II was quite popular. Saw the films. One day I want to hear a roaring Maybach in the flesh!

                  Cheers

Our museum/memorial trip last year took us through Manchester, Brussels, Overloon, Munster, Cologne, Bostogne, Dornot, Friedburg, & Frankfort. Overloon was my favorite, w/friendly folks, fine museum, & fantastic pancakes. Although 226kph on the autobahn was a close second. Me & three amigos (eldest son & favorite cousin). PaulE
