Telford announcement

The big Airfix announcement from Telford..

A 1/24 Hellcat

I am not at Telford but I have seen the press release and some pics. This looks superb I just hope the plastic lives up to the promise of the pics.

A curious choice for a Airfix but a good one.

I’m at Telford. Going to find the Airfix stand and have a look

Some pics of the new Hellcat. Looks as good as the Typhoon.

Indeed I just hope better quality plastic is than that for the Tiffy.

I would expect the usual soft Airfix plastic

Given the date I would have expected a 1/24 scale WWI aircraft. This one surprised me a bit.
A1/24 Sopwith or SE1 could have been more interesting...

You may be right. But on a recent release they did use an improved plastic and on a model of this size better quality plastic will make all the difference.

Just as long as they use enough of it, so no short shots!
