John, would it be ok to share this thread with ex RN personnel on The RN’s forum portal ‘Navy Net’ also referred to as ‘rum ration’.
We have members on there who may have had relations on the two warships as well as later generation who would like to see their the tribute and how they are not forgotten

    Thank you
    Doug, ex RN

    Ps
If anyone who has posted on the thread has any objections please let me know and I won’t share.
    Doug

Just superb Richard. Both the modelling and the sentiment are top class.

Thanks Tim, the organisers did a good job overall. We were just involved with the displays and placards. It was a success as now may do a replica of the displays for the museum. Lets see how that plays out.

        Cheers,
        Wabble

A friend on another site was taking about the HMS Hood when another member mentioned The POW and Repulse. Transpires the chap I know had relations on both ships!!!!
One was a Surgeon Lt. on POW!
