You know the comedy sketch, two people arrange to meet, they are on the phone looking at each other, and trying to convince the party on the other phone that they say they are where they are but cannot see them - but instead are looking at another person who is also on the phone - and then the penny drops like an old toilet seat......
.......Meet John R and Mike C. :rolling:
Made good time to the show and on the way informed by John Race that the car park was full, all those unhealthy people that need to frequent places like health clubs and gyms, but no panic as there is an overflow parking area. First person to meet and greet was Pete and his good friend Andy and later John Race and Stillp. And I am proud to say we all behave ourselves, and during our time together covered the whole spectrum from a to z, so you can all rest in your beds with the knowledge that there were no international incidents and that all shipping is safe.
So what of the show. There were some VERY impressive models on display, and not only in the competition area, and I must mention Pete's Toons, you have got to see them in the flesh, and there has to be a class now in all competitions for this growing interest of modellers of all ages, I had watched the builds through from start to finish which are a credit to Pete's imagination and skills, but to see them in real life, I dare you not to smile and take pleasure from looking at them. I will be heckling the MAFVA hirearchy to form a class.
Photos - I will not apologise for any duplicates, but let you enjoy the works of others.
Cheers, Mike.
