Malaysia International Miniature Hobby Show 2023

Hi Guys,
After four years due to covid, this years show brought out a much higher turn out, quality and higher level of standard that surprised everyone who attended including the competition entrants. The organisers were overwhelmed but managed it for the next two days with three to four hour queues for competition entries on the eve of the event totalling 1000. I had a busy day helping to man the club booth which had the most varied of displays which limited my time to photograph anything other than the best of show qualifiers. I do have pictures from colleagues that I have sorted out but not near the 1000. There was just too many. The 58 judges were tested and the allotted time was extended till midnight from 10am. What I heard was that it went on till near next morning to get it right down to Best of Show.
As I had expected, the bar was raised this year with many high quality levels of standards that I was beginning to think I wasn't in the running for even a bronze. Sources say I just missed the gold and be eligible for best of show. The gold winners deserve their award as they were really good....double dog awards even.
