Some show organisers are really taking the p*** these days. I was going to show my TR4A at a local classic car show until I saw I would have to pay £15 for the privilege! (Standard visitor entry was £20.) Really annoying when they depend on owners showing their cars, or there wouldn't be a show.

WOW Pete that is really takin the p*** as if you have gone to all that trouble to clean up your fab TR4A an then drive her an usein you own petrol to make their show then as you are makin their show you should be allowed in free as thats what happens when i take my ships to a show but did you go in the show then ? as next yr all you classic car owners want to boycott that show an go to another one as that is redickalous

No Chris, I refused. The attraction for some owners is that the entry fee includes passengers, but As you said, I'm not going to pay to make their show. There are plenty os sensible shows I can go to for free.

AN yes Pete these classic cars i love to look at them as in a big show comin up in sept called henom steam rally they have loads of classic cars an the big ameaican cars an motor bikes but i dont know if they have to pay to show their cars as i will ask a person who is showin their car but the price to in there will be a bit much i reckon but for jen an i its a day out an a long drive but if there is plenty of things to look at then the entry price is not to bad but will see on the day

Henham Steam Rally Chris? Entry there is free for exhibitors (if you're accepted) but normal entry is £26 each! Looks a good show, but too far for me - about 150 miles.

YES Pete it is a very good show but again 26 nicker each that 52 nicker to get in will have to consult jen on this price as again these lot are cockin the p*** but i must admit if there is what there last time we went then it maybe worth it but soon these shows will price them selves right out of what people will pay an then no show as we have said oh boy an yes for you 300 mls to far

                              Here's another one: https://www.bastoncarshow.com/
Quotes "discounted entry" for classics, but the ticket is the same price, you just get to take a passenger. Surprisingly a lot of clubs have agreed to display their cars, at the special club rate of £5 per car + £5 'admin fee'.
