        Nice.
But what is that all-grey Lanc? Maritime patrol?

          Hi Steve.
I believe the Lancaster is a Hasegawa Canadian postwar Air sea rescue kit.Colin the builder told me that there are parts that can be used to make a postwar RAF maritime reconaissance version.I like the postwar RAF variants and they used to do the Air sea rescue version with lifeboat slung under the bomb bay.Hard to find and very expensive indeed.
          All the best from Richard

Thanks for the pics Richard! I hope you had a good time too. The pics in batch 2, of the 1/72 cutaway Flower Class Corvette , the Minesweeper and the Overlord Mulberry Dock are from Barry Sharman. Was he there in person? I met him in 2016, at the Euro Militaire and he had them on display there. A fascinating gent to talk to and a fantastic modeler to boot. If he was there, he is well into his 80's now...

With the Flower Class Corvette model back then, the challenge was how long it would take for you to find the guy pinkling in the loo under deck inside it...With so much interior detail, it was not easy!!!...

            Prost

                Hi buddy.
The Mulberry layout was stunning.I dont think the maker was there.Nice chap i spoke to was in 40s.Some serious fantastic stuff on show.Very busy Saturday and just so much to see and tempt buyers.I just enjoyed putting faces to names from interest groups and seeing so many great builds.Might return next year.
                Prost buddy.
