I got back from two days at this show about an hour and a half ago, and now having had dinner and sorted through the pictures I took a bit, I’ll fulfill the request to:
:smiling3:
Our TWENOT stand, this morning:

I just noticed that the woman all the way on the left is pointing to one of my models of vehicles used in the Walcheren campaign, which probably aren’t unknown to regulars here
And more generic photographs from around the show. I won’t comment on all of them, except to point out things I think are noteworthy.

RC trucks:

More RC trucks at another stand. The bridge is a replica (within the usual capabilities of RC modellers, anyway
) of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, nicknamed “The Swan”:

RC aircraft:

They even had a flying area:

Carrera racetrack (also note the German vendor/small-scale kit maker TOM Modellbau in the background — never seen him here before, but he must have decided it might be worth the trek):

RC farm tractors!

And even 1:10 scale RC truck and tractor pulling!

Lots of trains:

Playmobil, which, somewhat oddly, is about the first thing you see when you get in (the toilets are right beside the entrance to the main hall):

I think these were all paper models:

A fictional version of the port of Rotterdam, almost entirely from paper models, both purchased and entirely scratchbuilt (I spent a fair while talking to the man who made them, and he said he had several times this still at home):

Continued in the next message …
