Warley. It's the biggest in the UK held at the NEC in Birmingham in November. If anyone has the chance to go it is well worth it, even if railways aren't your thing some of the exhibits are amazing. There are lots of traders and you can often find something that can cross over into other modelling genres.

If you want to try another show Model Rail Scotland is a little smaller but of equal quality to Warley. Held in Glasgow I can highly recommend the city for a visit.

This was the most impressive layout at the show, it was 60' long! Each board is owned by an individual or the club, the custodian can create any scene they want but the track must align at a set point near the boards ends and have a set scenic colour so that they can all be interchanged with any other board. And this isn't all of the layout, more boards have been completed but they didn't have space for all of them!

The bridge across the ravine is scratch built - just awesome.
