Wow Andy,
So sorry to hear the news and I hope that there is no fracture, just a really bad sprain. I know the stairs well down to the first landing from the little restaurant. There are so many different flights of stairs in the whole building with all the levels. Behind the stage you have even more that go down to the dressing/green rooms and they are really bad.
Richard, I hope you too are ok and have no bad after effects or a sprain. Take care of yourself there youngster!!!
Pete, A hearty congrats from me too buddy!!! Much deserved as you put a lot of heart and soul into those little masterpieces. Feels good, don't it!!!
One last thing Gents...Were there a lot of vendors there too???Life's to short to be a sheep...Comment

Try not to listen to daft comments like that. We all know that you’re a great bloke and definitely not boring. Some people are so insecure that they have to pull others down to feel better about themselves. Try not to take it to heart and leave them with their sad view of life. It’s their problem, don’t make it yours!

Richard,
I stood next to you at Euro and we had some interaction but I wasn't quite sure if you recognised me without my pegs? I was in a lot of pain, so didn't find the SK stall. You came to the centre of the room and I was with Tommy's War but came over to you. Hopefully, next time I can consentrate on conversations.

It was good to catch up with everyone at Euro - including 'hopalong' Andy - at least his models were safe!.
The show was a bit quiet but good to go to.
My trip home went pear shaped. My Monday ferry was scheduled to leave at 9.20 to arrive in Guernsey at 12.20 - a 3 hour trip. Unfortunately the vessel went technical and was taken out of service, replaced with a conventional ferry, and the revised eta changed to 16.00. Normally the ferry route is Poole - Guernsey - Jersey. Unfortunately the Jersey harbour is very tidal and on some tidal the window to get into an out of the harbour is such the schedule changes to fo to Jersey before Guernsey, which adds over 4 hours onto the trip to Guernsey. This was one of those days!
It got worse. We departed from Poole an hour late, they failed to make up the time, infact arrived in Jersey late. After awhile in Jersey we were told that we had missed the tide and could not get out of the harbour, so had to wait an hour or so for the tide to come back in so we could leave the harbour.
I eventually disembarked at 20 minutes past midnight.
