Likewise, after a quick reckoning it's about 530.....

I'm going to do what I've done previously and that's to create a shared album on Flickr, where I host my photos, put some taster shots up on here and then include the link to the soon in the thread..... Something like this
https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threa...rdshire.36226/. If you can do something similar it means your can share all the shots.

Glad you had a great time. Junior thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I of course!! Although towards the end of display Junior was beginning to flag.

    ATB.

Did I mention I had the very great pleasure to meet both David Willey and David Fletcher at Tankfest? (seperately) No? Well I did! What an honour, and icing on the cake to a great event.

Also got some good pics of 131. If anyone wants anything posting just ask. I took hundreds of pics there, so won't post all, or it'll crash the forum!

              Hi all.
I have just read this post for the first time.
Bovington brings back memories for me as a nipper. My Father was a Sgt in 5 RTR. My Uncle was still serving and also a Sgt
and living at Bovington camp, I can't remember which Regt. We visited my Uncle quite often as we lived in Bournemouth.
Myself and Cousin Ken used to go to the museum a lot. Then all the displays were open and we could climb all over and go inside.
Many a happy hour spent there. I can't seem to remember paying to go in, but proberbly did not have to pay anyway as being
family of a serving soldier. Yeah, happy times. But then one "grows" up and things change. Happy Days.
