Speaking of shows, I checked out events at RAF Cosford next year and found no mention of the model show. Does anyone know if it's on?

As the organisers of the Shropshire Model Show we regret to say that it will not be possible for us to plan a show at the RAF Museum Cosford in 2023.
Many of you will be aware that the museum is currently undergoing a major program of reorganisation and refurbishment of its displays and buildings, to improve the experience for all its visitors. This has created a situation where it will be necessary for them to close sections of the museum in turn, and move exhibits within the hangars, as work progresses around the site.
For us as organisers this means there will be no static layout around which we can plan, so regrettably we will not be able to hold a show. Hopefully once the work is completed, we will return to a rejuvenated museum to hold our model show.
Further updates will be posted at our new club website (www.shropshirescalemodellers.uk)

Oh Poo!! Missin' out on the highlight of my year - AGAIN!

For anyone thinkin': "Poor b****r! What a sad life he leads if that's all he's got to look forward to!" Don't worry. It may be a sad life to you, but I'm fine with it and wouldn't really want it any other way. All that peace and quiet and being able to do what I want to do just whenever I want to do it. Or the opposite of course - being able to do nothing for as long as I like. Although there is a minor problem with that. Doing nothing sometimes means it's hard to know when you've finished.

Betcha lots of you guys don't have anywhere near that freedom! :smiling3::smiling:
