Yeah. It was good to have a catch up. I checked with the guys on the door 'cos last time I went there were two rooms instead of just one. Apparently the organisers thought it was too expensive to hire the second room just for the limited numbers of competition entries they had last time.
There were also quite a few empty club tables in the main room where the clubs hadn't turned up.
It's at this point I normally show pics of the kits I bought at the show. Hold on to your hats folks - I didn't buy any! Maybe my 'Stashitis' is finally healing after buying waaayyy too many kits over the years. I just didn't fancy anything on offer, but one dealer managed to sell a 1/35 Dora railway gun (I assume he sold it as I saw it in the morning and it wasn't there at lunch time), so he must have been fairly happy. I only got some odds and sods of tools and they were mainly for PJ.
There is a show at the Coventry Air Museum later this year. I've been before and although it's good, it's not particularly big. This show is advertised as a mini show so I'll have to have a think about it.
