There certainly were some nice builds. The highlight for me was the paper models; the Fairey Battle, Me109 and Churchill in particular. Nice chap on the stand too, showed us some "as bought" examples and explained the build process. Interesting links from a UK Card Model Group flyer:

And a big thanks from me too, Pete! Looks like a good show and lots to buy and see. One day, I'll get a chance to go to a show on the Insel again. It's been a few years since and I'd love to meet up with the 'Wild Bunch', in person. I'm still waiting for my friend to give me the pics he took of the clubs' tables from the EME show in Lingen last month. His first time in a competition and he won a bronze medal. He's been drunk for over a week now and keeps forgetting them! I should post up my pics of the competition models and add his later....
