Had a great day today. Met lots of old friends and made some new ones too. I also had a very interesting chat with the Airfix designer and researcher for the 1/48 Sea King, all I can say is I’ll need some golden gloss yellow paint in 2025.

It was great seeing the sprues close up.Some serious detail.Id have loved one but space stops me making any.

Just returned from Telford - you guys with your 2 and four hour car journeys; you don't know you are born. A 14 hour ferry, (not including waiting at the terminal) arriving home a 1.00 this afternoon!

it was my first time at Telford and its a great show - fewer figures, and figure suppliers than I expected but a great opportunity to see some great models.

fortunate to get a bronze for this one:



ironically, of the few I entered this one involved the lowest level of modeling skill!

first time I’ve been to Telford, I can’t believe how busy it was, it took me 2 hours to get there but the last half a mile took an hour and half due to the queue.

a lot of impressive work on display, and it was good to meet up with some of my suppliers, one of which is taking me out for a meal tonight so off to get ready :smiling3:
