    Tamiya Masking Tape for Curves

    I see Tamiya do a Tape for Curves, comes in three sizes.

    Just found this company that has it in stock, have bought the 3mm Tape. Will let you know how I get on with it on my Scharnhorst. Derek

      Hi Derek I got some a while back not used it yet it is quite thick and not as sticky bit like electricians tape it flexes sideways if you see what I mean

        Hi Roger, thanks for the feedback. I plan to use it on the superstructure of the Scharnhorst. I understand it is slightly hygroscopic so when the paint hits it, it swells and helps to prevent the paint leaching under the tape. So the story goes, we'll see. Derek

              Does this mask round corner radii without crinkling and splitting on either side? It looks more like straight line stuff but a good price if it does both

                Yeah it curves and bends around contours, its designed for body workers to use to create there paintwork on actual cars
