Richard,
It's one of MiniArt's own pictures!
I have to say, they don't look very convincing, stacked like that!

Yup, Dave, too neatly stacked and no weight effect. The sacks ought to be smaller or they're too heavy to lift.

Cheers,
Richard

I really don’t see the point of this kind of set, certainly not if it’s aimed at serious modellers.

Why did they include a sack of spuds with the sandbags?

Now, this could be a coincidence, but the MiniArt "sandbags", as posted above #132 has become...............

Another 'coming soon' from MiniArt, a diorama in a box, just add tank & shake

And from IBG - up coming ( no further details )

Ooh, that C60L should come really in handy if I ever decide to build the diorama I kind of want to … I might need to buy one just in case.

Dave

I brought the tank crew a couple of years ago. The artwork is the same so what makes them so special this time around?
Maybe the body parts go together properly this time rather than looking like Frankenstein's long lost family!:smiling3:

Steve,
I believe it is 'special' because they added a weapons sprue, although given their state of dress, I don't know how you would add rifles/mgs etc!

I too have that set minus the nipple clamps. :tears-of-joy:

Dave, the hessian tag explains why they're so huge but not suitable for flour as they would sift through the large mesh of the hessian.

Cheers,
Richard

John,
I'm afraid that I don't pay any attention to the small scale end of the market - I'm sure that dozens of little gems pass me by unnoticed!
