I've come across a company called Modelsvit - it seems to be a Ukrainian based outfit that produces models of prototype/obscure aircraft, mainly in 1/72, but this caught my eye.............
The Curtiss Ascender in 1/48!
Another that caught my eye was the Dassault Mirage Balzac, sadly in 1/72. There are a whole host of 1/72 Russian prototypes, that I would have to research, just to see if they had flown! i.e.

Has anyone had any experience of Modelsvit? - Short run, or state of the art? They seem to be pretty available, Hannants have a load in stock, prices ranging from ยฃ13 to an eye watering ยฃ442 for a 1/72 Ruslan!. There is a Facebook page, which is quite informative about products

There's also a website I found just by doing a google search. Lots of very unusual flying things as Dave says. Not my thing but nice to see someone willing to tackle so many prototypes and the like.

Itโ€™s more useful if you link to it (Though that site isnโ€™t actually by the model producer themselves, but by their Bulgarian importer.)

Agreed, lots of things you donโ€™t often see models of.

The Facebook page seems to be the only direct link to Modelsvit https://www.facebook.com/modelsvit/ .

From YouTube - a look at the mighty HK 1/32 Lancaster!
* 1/32 Lancaster*
A lot of plastic - clear or solid fuselage halves, be a pity to hide all that detail!
For those who love Lancasters, have a lot of space to display it, and deep pockets.
I'm afraid I fail on all three!, so I can only look on in envy awe amazement admiration.

Hi Dave,
It would make a great glass cased coffee table diorama maybe
regards Jim

The first rail wagon from MiniArt - Dual Gauge. MiniArt already have rail track sections, is this the start of a new range of models?
Dave
ps - I've downloaded the instructions for this - pretty detailed, comes with European gauge track section. You'd need to buy the Russian track separately.
