Italeri have announced a 1/35 T-34/85, with full interior, and PE details. At the moment there are only some rather poor CAD renderings, which I won't post - I'll wait for some more positive pictures.................

Empty boxes in boxart are confusing.
I thought there wasn't much left of launch box when they fired them.

There were both metal & wood crates. Both very sturdy. Photos show piles of them looking intact. I believe the metal ones were for the Napalm type as it was slightly larger than the HE type. I've read where the basic load on 251s were 5 HE to 1 Napalm. PaulE

OK, a case of 'lost in translation'
From the HobbyBoss description of their 1/35 'Olifant' tank

"Product introduction:

The South African military began the development of the "Oliver" type 1 tank in 1976. The "Horn" tank was developed on the basis of the "Hundred Captain" tank. Many major improvements have been made in artillery, engines, suspension devices, and fire control systems. From 1976 to 1978, a total of three prototypes were made and extensive troop use tests were conducted. The stereotyped "Horn" type 1 tank is called the "Horn" 1A main battle tank. Oliver, or Oliver, means "a horn made of ivory," and "horn" or "ivory horn" is its abbreviation.
Item No 83897 Item Name South African Olifant MK1B MBT"

For those puzzled, Olifant is Afrikaans for Elephant - and it was developed from the Centurion tank! A case of relying on Google translation I think!

Even though I have moved away from vehicles, a long running project is to build as many of the variants as possible so these may well be added to my Christmas list - probably to sit in the stash!!!
