On the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss Facebook page........................
It says 'in 1/700 first' --1/350 later? The Shandong will be China's first indigenous carrier - scheduled for completion 2020.
Polux, on the subject of Land Rovers, at the moment, Accurate Armour, Italeri & HobbyBoss are the only real competitors at the moment. Maybe it's time for another big maker to step up to the mark!

On the Trumpeter Website, their end of the month update to upcoming releases
Stuka Kanonvogel in 1/24

GT-MU multi-purpose armoured carrier in 1/35

Interesting - Sd.kfz. 7/3 in 1/35 - This shows the command vehicle for a V-2 launch crew, I wonder if Trumpeter will do the rest?
The HobbyBoss site hasn't been updated yet....................

Richard,
MBV-2 - Russian armoured train - 2 were made in the 1930's. They originally had T-28 turrets, but were upgunned during the Great Patriotic War - this is a late war version, I believe.
Allen,
no firm dates, but I would guess January....................

There is a MBV-2 at the Kubinka museum in Moscow. Variousd drawings show different turrets at different WWII dates
That's where the camo comes from!

They certainly seem to have expected opponents who aren’t colourblind — or maybe they did expect them to be, but their own troops to have perfect colour vision so they can tell it’s a Russian train.Comment
