Didn’t stop Revell adding 1(NL) options to their somewhat-recent Leopards.

What the Canadian tanks have going for them, though, model-marketing-wise, is some of them being actually deployed to war zones.

I have no idea how manufacturers choose the versions to model! ( and at times I don't think they know either ). One way of looking at it is, the larger the population of a country, the more people will be interested in a locally marked/used tank. ( As long as it doesn't add much cost ). Hence the number of Chinese subjects made by Trumpeter/HobbyBoss ( largely unknown in the West ).
I suppose some do market research, but I've never heard of any specific case!
Has anyone been approached, or asked to fill in a questionnaire about model subjects, by one of the major makers?

And a 1/48 Version of the Yak-130 ( note the parts count - 340! ) - Zvezda already do a 1/72 version which looks good - be nice to see a review of its scaled up brother

No, never heard of anyone else being approached either. Asked MLHS owner & he laughed, said he had trouble getting them to answer e-mails. Although he said some listen to input at shows. PaulE

On the Italeri website. Don't think this is new tooling ( Polistil & Revell have 1/9 models in back catalogue ), it fits in with with their BMW motorbike
Looking at the sprue shots, compared with Revell 03073, it's the same model...........

Pete,
I don't cover 1/72 tanks, but please feel free to post them - it would be better, if you said where the pictures came from on the 'net, whether social media, or "official" website.
Where did 'John' come from?
