Link and length I would think, I believe they are also doing the Russian version sold under license. They both were due to be released last year , but seem to have been held up .

France 1944 and it says Antwerpen on one of the signs? Would that be Antwerpen in Haute-Normandie or Antwerpen-sur-Seine?

In any case, sets like these always make me wonder who theyโ€™re aimed at Thirty years ago, sure, but today, anyone with a colour printer and some (plastic)card can make any sign they want quite easily.

In the invasion scare of 1940, signposts were removed all over the UK - I wonder, did the Germans not remove strategic signposts in France?, especially those really important ones, like

'To the Normandy Front' - hmmmmm - no warning signs 'like beware tank traps' , or 'slow, hidden ambush ahead! :smiling3:

I think the one you picked was added when they had the reserve troops moving up days later.

If info in "the longest day" is based on fact the Germans had already rotated signs at crossroads. John Wayne gets the ambleve???? sign taken down.

For those of you like me who have a 1/35 Dora unmade and used as a coffee table help is at hand. Robert Schatton is releasing a corrected hollow aluminium barrel. No price as yet.
