On the Zvezda Facebook page boxart for their upcoming 1/144 Airbus A350

No doubt itll be a lovely kit dave but why do zvezda seem obsessed with manufacturers promo schemes ? I know theyre keen to get the latest aircraft out but most modellers would prefer an actual in service scheme plus the promo ones are usually a bugger to paint , having vast areas of colour with wavy lines and all sorts of stuff which isnt usually supplied as decal( see their boeing 787 and 747-800 ) . The upside is that Revell have been re boxing the zvezda releases a few months later but in proper airline colours so i suppose its just a case of waiting a bit .
After MiniArt announced a version in 1/35 - Roden will release a LGOC B Bus in 1/72
From their website...............
I'm conscious that I don't pay much attention to braille scale models - I'll have to pull my socks up on this!

Not your fault Dave if manufactures don't put it out there it's their loss ,I think you do a sterling job 1/72 I feel is no longer the niche part of the hobby it was with some of the big boys now climbing on the wagon but they have to let modelers know how else will they get the leggo scalers :tongue-out3: to step up to tru scale.
It's amazing how some manufacturers seem to treat the internet so casually. For a comparatively low expense, they can reach the whole world! Instead they seem to rely on magazines, word of mouth or their distributor network - or even worse, sell you a paper catalogue with only their own products in it!

On the Gecko Models Facebook page - Modern British Army Troops - it's not clear about whether they are all available, or when
I'm afraid that all the modern footsoldiers look the same to me! - similar helmets, body armour. If it wasn't for the L85s these could be any nationality..............

On the Revell website, a new variant of the Boxer, in 1/72
The parts count for these braille scale models is rising! 120 parts - and no link & length tracks to boost the number.....
Dave
PS Each wheel has 3 parts, to mould the aggressive tread pattern - there's 24 parts................
On the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss Facebook page - Boxart & Schemes for their upcoming Canadian Leopard
On the Meng Facebook page - 'under development'
Not sure I like the tag 'pre-coloured edition' - that almost implies more toy-like. I hope I'm wrong & it's lost in translation - but one thing is, that it will be expensive....................
