Nice yak, i suspect its a rebox of the bobcat models kit , at least being hobbyboss it should be a bit easier to get hold of now .

Wow, that radar will require rather a lot of care to remove from the sprue … I foresee a lot of broken parts for builders who aren’t quite careful enough

                    Jakko,
at first, I thought why not PE?, but then, looking at the size of the sprues, I realised that it wouldn't be cost effective - imagine getting a sheet of brass that size, and essentially throwing 90% of it away, dissolved in the acid! Not to mention the time! It's a test of their expertise to get this to work.

I see big problems for folks buying this kit as Trumpeter do not have a spares department. Anyone breaking these parts will have to be really good at repairs!

                        Dave,
Trumpeter have a email address for spare parts on their website - I've never used it, so don't know how well it works

That's news to me Dave. Last time I went to the Telford show, I spoke to the Pocketbond rep asking about spares. He told me quite emphatically that Trumpeter do not supply replacement parts for their kits. Maybe he thought I was asking if they supplied them free. It's good to know that replacements may be available. I don't need any but .......

Just looked at the HobbyBoss website, it has the same email contact address - that same address appears on the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss Facebook page, where it says ' duration varies, prices vary', so it doesn't seem to be a freebie.................

Not to mention it would require even greater modelling skills to put it together. I’d be wary of glueing it, for fear of damage when touched, but I doubt my soldering skills are up to putting something like that together. Better to have it in plastic so your average modeller has at least a shot at getting it built
