It is with tremendous sadness that I have to announce the passing of Mr Geoffrey Charman.
I've known Geoffrey for many years now, going back to the days of Military Modelling Magazine and it's attendant Website.
A man of prodigious talent in this hobby, his work was regularly displayed on this and other Groups. He was also a stalwart of the Modelling Group that were resident at The Tank Museum at Bovington.
Incredibly generous of his time and abilities, Geoffrey would help because it would never occur to him to do anything else.
The term "Gentleman" is often bandied about, but I can think of nobody more deserving of the title than Geoffrey Charman.
My sincerest condolences to his Family and Friends.
RIP Geoffrey, you will be greatly missed.
