But just look at the hours/weeks/months of fun you will have building it. Then there's the hanger to go with it once completed.

in my opinion like my tiger build im not bored with it as with each new bit i fit on is a new challenge an to me thats the whole point of modeling to enjoy the modeling an unless you can find really cheap kits then by the time you buy an build 10 to or more new kits the price will come up to that an most of the models will be put out of the way to make way for the next an they will be forgot about unless you have plenty of shelfs space
so in my opinion yes i know this is a lot of money to lay out at one go but you proberly will lay out this much over time on the 10 or so small models but thats just my take on this but i think i would go for it if i was'nts busy on tiger as there is so much that can be done with a big model like workin engines'nav lights ' an such
ATB all an have a good think about it as you might kick your self later on missing out if they do only make so many then stop
Chris ps an just think of the build thread you could do on here it would be brilliant wowComment

If you have the money and it is what you want then buy it. Same as everything else. If you don't have that sort of money or there are more pressing things to spend it on then don't.
As for "value for money" - divide cost by hours spent building it. Might actually be the same "value" as a £15 kit.
The other thought is that the wife would divorce me or worse! ☹️

Like a couple of others have said I would love to see an experienced aeroplane builder build one on the forum.Comment

The word is out that the U.K. RRP is £699.
That said some pre-order prices are a fair bit lower but with that RRP they probably won’t hold.
I have the dosh but do I really want to spend that much? I really don’t know.
I would certainly consider it between £500 and £600 but given that the HKM 1/32 Lanc can be picked up for £360 (which seems to be a bargain) and I have the 1/48 in the stash, do I really want to spend £700 even though it will knock the socks off the HKM for quality, is it worth double the price?
We shall see.Comment
