Yep, a great deal. That’s about a years model spending and I just haven’t got the staying power for one build in a year. Pity they didn’t do it as a chastise Lanc really. That’s the true icon to me. Probably still wouldn’t buy it though

WNW had one in the pipeline so no doubt that will be along at some point too

        Too high.
        That’s me out.
I’ll build the HK Models kit and see what can be made of that. The stand out difference is the oil canning effect on the surfaces. With some patience, putty and knife this can be replicated too. I have all the aftermarket needed for the HK kit as well. You can bet, despite how wonderful the new Border kit is, that there will be a plethora of aftermarket stuff to purchase at some stage down the line that could easy send the total cost up toward the £1000 mark depending on how crazy you want to be!
Oh well, it did look nice on the stand at Telford!!!!
        Cheers

I still have two 1/48 Tamiya Lanc's not touched as I have no place to have them.... And at the asking price for this very nice looking kit, I think I will pass.

The UK distributor hasn’t released a price yet, the “word” is just the internet guessing.

Lucky Models are sent from Hong Kong so you will then likely get hit by import taxes when it arrives plus an admin fee.

An "almost L" MS (almost because is 2 hrs drive from home) here in Italy is offering the Lanc on pre-order at 569€ (482,32 pounds) VAT included. The pre-order slot ends on Oct. 31st.
I'm not aware of UK custom taxes but if interested, please PM me to get the link to their homepage.

At £620 plus any extras, like paint and glue, I think we're into insurance territory here.
