This thread has more twists and turns than an alpine road.
If I could remember what the topic was I would ask that we got back to it.Comment

I’m sure those kinds of sounds can be found online, and else you could lift parts of the sound from a suitable movie. Then build a cheap MP3 player and speakers into the base, or a Bluetooth speaker so you can play the sounds from a phone or similar when you want them.Comment

You can buy a sound unit with a SDcard slot. Record the sound you want put it on the SD card and into the sound box.Comment

Wow Paul I would have never thought of doing that that’s going to be some acreage to display you got a nearly 3 ft wingspan plane and then the cityscape on top as well as the height to consider need a small room on its own from the sounds of it

It will be big, but not as big as you think. I'll use forced perspective on the cityscape. I imagine it to be about 8" from the underside of the aircraft and about an inch or two bigger than the model itself all round - roughly 3' 4" square and about 16" deep. I'm looking into having a coffee table made to accommodate it.

Completely enclosed on all 4 sides with a glass top. The dio will be very dark in nature. Really not much more than a textured background with LEDs making parts of it glow intermittently. Well, at least that’s the idea!
