I had cause to speak to an employee of Hornby on an unrelated matter when it transpired she had pre ordered the new Spitfire as I have...so i asked the question: when's it coming?

October she said, no date but definately next month.

I built the original (in a re-boxing) that was an ok kit for its age. This new one is going to be quite something else. I'll look forward to seeing you build it Del.
You might want to get some extra paint in.
