    Ian Lawrence RIP

Some of you out there may know of my friend, the professional model maker, Ian Lawrence, best known for his SF builds. Over the years he's made some stupendous builds of various of the Star Trek USS Enterprises, all fully lit, as well as many studio scale models. Sadly, Ian died due to cancer, just this last weekend.

Check out his website and his YouTube channel for his work

    See you, mate

Such sad news, sorry for your loss, I used to drool over some of the builds he'd created...boy had that man got skills... the Sideshow Luke skywalker on a Tauntaun he did was exquisite, he really change the way it looked for the better, and his 'funny' commentary along with his pic was brilliant........his passing is certainly a great loss to the sci-fi modelling community..

      Thanks
I've known Ian for the best part of thirty-five years. He used to be our AD&D DM too
I've seen some of his stuff in the 'flesh', and I still go 'how did you do that?'
