I gave VB a new database copy yesterday, they have just started importing it, they said this could take a couple of days, that is probably because of all the attachments, we have accrued a lot of data over the past 20 years, so some posts will be lost unfortunately

I looked earlier and there was a message saying they were having a problem, this might have been before you re-sent the database. Still chin up John, we can expect a few teething problems while they get used to us and we to them.

Transferring huge quantise of data is alway fraught!! Fingers crossed when it happens it is fairly smooth!

just to update you, I heard from VB yesterday, apparently they had an issue with it but have sorted that now, I sent them the attachments yesterday and have asked them how much longer will it take, but they didn’t reply, I can’t see it being too much longer

Thanks John. I usually type in 'scale models forums' and hit the first one at the top of the list - been lucky so far.... Keep meaning to get the shortcut on the desktop....

Good grief Mike! It's only about three mouse clicks instead of typing 17 letters every time! Or is your desktop already full of all the different stuff you do? :smiling:
