I was talking with one of the guys from Modelzone last week, all the stores are building this kit as part of an anniversary event through their company, I sadly have to say he was not impressed at all, claiming he had to use a lot of filler to over come large gaps, course this could be down to the actual kit perhaps been warped or damaged some how but it may be worth looking into.
I to have this kit on the workbench, so far not used any filler, parts and fit are very good. No flash on any of the 6 main sprue's, seem lines are not to bad only minus point there's a lot ejector pin mark's but they sand out very quickly. Otherwise very happy with it so far.
People bash the Revell Lancaster but in my eyes it looks like a Lancaster. The Airfix (new one) looks a nice kit but I already have two lancs in my stash so won't be adding one.... until the 1/32 Lanc comes out that is
