    Trumpeter to do the Hood

Saw that the Trumpy range of 1/200 scale battle ships is to get a new addition in 2014 HMS HOOD.

I fear for my bank account.

That would make it just over 51inches long....... What's that likely to cost then?

Trumpeter are releasing loads of ships just lately

No real room for it and at that kind of money and my dodgy hands, I fear it could be an expensive wreck model in the making...

Not really a wreck though mate , when they actually found the wreck of Hood I think there was only 10% hull one turret and a propeller lol

Ian here's what you do , you buy it and scuff the box up a bit and then come through the front door say

                        " you'll never guess what I found in a skip "

If your wife then queries why there is a chunk of dosh missing from the bank you say

"Oh no! We've been scammed and pretend to phone the bank "

Job done and you can make a lovely kit

Thats easy for you Ian. Order it just after you move house, then when it arrives tell the missus that it's part of the new furniture thats arrived, she will be none the wiser

Sounds excellent but I've been reading about their last couple of ship releases in 1/200 and there have apparently been serious issues with hull shape and accuracy. Hope they get this one right.
