    Revell's 1:32 F-4F Phantom II WTD 61 "Test Flight"

I thought I would do a review of this kit as it was bought for me whilst at Telford.

Opening up the box it strikes me that ever corner is packed with sprues, in total you have 11 sprues and two large sheets of decals.

The instruction book is fairly comprehensive with several options available to you as you build, you can have the nose open, different pay loads and gear up or down.

The main sprues are well laid out but no sprue letters are shown on any so you may have to hunt through a couple to find your required part.

The canopy has no defects in it but it looks a little thick so triple dipping in Klear will be the order of the day.

Finally we come to the decals, there are two sheets and believe me the second sheet is big, lots of Micro Sol/Set will be needed. I've placed a Mars bar next to the large sheet for a size comparison.

Overall the in my opinion kit is well worth the RRP of £30, though it was cheaper at Telford on several stalls.

I'm looking forward to building it at some point in the future and have already seen that metal landing gear and paint masks are available.

    Thanks

    Adrian
