Review - Dspiae Mini Cordless Vacuum

Did a short Video review, posted on YT, see linky:

Quite impressed, it seems to work well and be well made.
Not heavy, easy to hold in the hand, not too loud, seems to pick stuff up easily enough.
Has built in Li-Ion battery, recharges via USB (Type C) connector, a short USB lead is included.
Has two speeds, low and full. Press and hold power button to start, which puts the vac into low power mode (or normal mode), press the power button again and it goes into full power mode. Press and hold the power button to turn the vac off.
Takes approx four hours to charge, and should give 30 mins use on low power and 15 mins use on full power.

Comes in a nice box, and includes a padded felt type bag to hold the vac, and also comes with a small brush and a small extension tube.
The vac also comes with a flexible blower tube, eg: connect the blower tube to the vac's outlet and it acts as a blower, for cleaning keyboards, etc.
The only negative I can see is the reservoir to hold the dust etc is quite small, so if you use it a lot it will need emptying a lot, but it takes seconds to empty, so not really an issue. The vac has a filter, which can be removed and cleaned with water.

I did look around at other well known brand mini cordless vacs and they were mostly more expensive than this one. Cost of this one was a smidge under £40 from the SMS, cheers John. There are cheaper no name mini vac types, but I think its a false economy to save just a few quid for some unknown brand and the unknown quality of those. Whereas, IMHO at leas,t Dspiae is well known and seems to make quality products, NB: I have a few of their other bits, so yes, I am a fanboy, Lol....

Hope the review is useful to someone, thanx. 8-)

The video is coming up as private.

Keep going with the reviews, nice to see an honest appraisal of these useful accessories.

Thanks for that Peter. Looks like I may be parting with more pennies - as soon as I get some of course!

Hi Peter, I must admit that I am tempted; but I just take everything off of my desk when I need to clean it, and sweep it onto the floor with an old 2" paint brush I keep specifically for the task, then hoover the floor as normal!! It's kills two vacuuming birds with one stone AND it has the bonus of sometimes retrieving formally lost items from the dreaded 'carpet monster'!!!

        Still tempted though......????????

Must admit we do a big weekly vacuum of the whole house, (only two of us here), so my OCD means all the little bits of fluff, plastic, paper, and other detritus from my model making, after a couple of days, does start to irritate me. So I needed a little dedicated vac just for my sanity!
I have also used this in my garage as well, to keep the workbench clean too, so its getting used a fair bit! 8-)

I do the same as Darren although this little cleaner still interests me, but......
My wife does linocut and also cleans up her desk with a brush, wonder if this would pick up some of her smaller scrapings?
