    1/72 ModelCollect T-90 MS (video)

Really impressed with this kit (apart from the decals) so if you can't sleep, have a watch at my Video Open Box review.

Just a small point 'My Scale Models' is the name of my now defunct but soon to be resurrected personal website. It is in no way connected to Scale Model Shop

They do appear quality but we shall see in the build. Not sure why there are two sprues of wheels and external fuel tanks though, far too many road wheels ops:

I have seen one of these kits somewhere on the web, can't find it again, that has a plastic hull but a metal barrel. Have you looked through the kits yet, just wondered which it was.

Nice looking kits and nice review Graham.

It's probably just me, but the plastic sounded a bit brittle? If it is, you might want to be careful of using enamels. I looked at Phil Flory's build of the Star Wars AT ST which is made from quite a brittle plastic, and his literally disintegrated when he used an enamel wash on it.

The T-14 Armata has a metal barrel, but Modelcollect had a batch that was missing the barrel, I know that because I had some of that batch and I'm waiting for replacement barrels

That could be due to the sound quality Dave. The plastic feels quite 'normal'. I am researching camera and sound equipment to get the videos better. Just need someone to do the voice over lol.

I get the feeling that they do use generic parts for these kits John, nothing wrong with that as the real things are variants on a hull system even the decals appear to be generic as they appear to cover quite a time frame. Again, not a problem as the moulding of the kits is stunning for the scale.
