I've just watched it and even though I knew what to expect, having seen Uncle Night Shift use it, I still can't get over how wet it goes on and yet out brilliantly it dries. The one thing I do wonder though is just how much varnish you're going to get through!!! :surprised:

Dave - thanks for bringing this to our attention, it is appreciated.

Andy- thanks for sharing the link, it saved me having to look for it!

Andrew it does come in quite a big bottle and as far as I'm concerned its a trade off I'd rather lay out a few more pence per kit knowing the product works rather than cross fingers with a lesser product. As you know I dont build bigger scale stuff 35ers ,small porky I do if it takes my fancy every now and then but three or four small ones for the price of a bigger one plus spending more than fifteen to twenty pounds for some plastic makes me feel . I have found recently though that I dont mind paying a few more pence here and there for better quality modeling products to help protect my time and investment in what I'm building , there was a time when I'd have just gone thats knacked that then and shown it the bin but these times aren't getting any better or easier for many and I feel I can no longer justify being that cavalier, hope I havent wandered of that far but I'm sure you know what I'm prattling on about. Actually Dave, I know what you mean.

Although I got quite a few kits and bits during lockdown, because I wasn't spending my money on anything else, a lot went on better quality tools and equipment or things that made the hobby easier.

Might look at getting VMS when my other varnishes have run out, like you I'm mainly 1/72.

            Thanks again for sharing.
