1/32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk I (Mid) K32001 Kotare

Not quite a review, more like what's in the box, after long delays the Kotare Spitfire has just arrived, I've been waiting for this since it was announced, I might even put the Apache to one side and start this one.

Not a lot of parts to the kit, but then again more Spitfire kits don't, the detailing for the most part looks very good, no flashing that I can see.

The stand out part of the kit are the instructions, they are so well done and I think a lot of manufactures could learn from this.

Looks very nice indeed. They were at Telford last year and the sprues for this or another of my their kits were out....it did look very nice.

But unfortunately too big for me..... Not that I think I could do it justice.....

Really liking how they have put the seatbelts on. Looks an excellent kit.

Agree with everything written. Looks fantastic and the seatbelt idea is far more user friendly than fighting with etch…..shouldn’t be any knockout pin issues either, they’ve gone for the tags on parts approach. The only thing I’d say is that the IP looks a little soft compared to the rest of the detail. The sidewalls look superb in comparison.
