    DSPIAE cutters

I saw these online for around £40+, watched a YouTube video which extolled the virtues of these cutters and highly recommended them.

Being tight I didn't want to spend that kind of money on cutters, but the ones I had where pinching the sprue and the parts needed a fair bit of sanding. Long story short, I saw the same cutters on Ali express for £18 posted, I purchased them and they arrived in a week.

When I used them I was extremely surprised at how neatly and effortlessly they performed, at some points I didn't know if I'd actually cut or not, they're robust, smooth and clearly high quality, do I think they're 40 quids worth? Probably not, but £18 is a steal

Which ones did you get? I usually avoid Aliexpress but this could tempt me...

        £18. Bargin.
As for the robust bit... my first pair got a chuck break off the center of the cutting blade. They did get replaced without hassle.
My current pair get cared for. Very pleased with mine.

Extremely please with mine, i think I save a good couple of hours per kit clean up time. By far and away the best I’ve used. I do treat them with respect though. I only use them for sprue gate cutting direct on the part, and try not to cut with the tips to reduce the risk of them fracturing. Heavy duty Xurons get used for anything else, such as clipping up sprues for disposal.

Did you check yours on the DSPIAE website, by the way? You can tell if they are genuine there.
