This will be my next project, although I am not ready to start it just yet, so I want to keep the sprues in their sealed bags.
A word of caution, before you buy the Kit you have to decide which year you want to chose for the build. The kit described here covers the KGV during 1944/45. If however you want to show it during the Bismark pursuit, you are better buying the Tamiya HMS Prince of Wales kit and buying the detailed but expensive conversion kit to convert the PoW to the KGV. The reason being that the KGV was fitted with seaplanes during the pursuit, and the PoW kit has this feature.
The Tamiya Kit comes in a nice strong box and is well packed as Tamiya's usual standard.

There is a complete Hull without the option of waterline, and a plastic stand is provided.
The components come in 6 grey sprues and one sheet of Flag decals. The Deck comes in three nicely moulded sections. There is no PE provided for handrails etc.

You have the option of the camo or the simpler Grey finish.

I have chosen to purchase separately the Gold Medal PE set, and the Master Model Barrels for the 14" and 5.25" Guns.

The PE set includes an external degaussing cable, which after much research I have established was removed and fitted internally circa 1943.
No wooden deck is provided, but the moulded one is nicely detailed. Two booklets of instructions are included, one in English and one in Chinese. Cheers Derek
