    Chill

Like a lot of old people ,how old is old nowadays ,change is seen as a afront to i suppose you could say to your human rights but come on guys as has been pointed out give it a chance ,we've just bought a car with a automatic hand brake ,I started driving illegally at sixteen ie no licence passed test at eighteen im now a couple of years off of seventy this thing hasent even got a bloody key for christs sake after all thoes years of pulling on a hand break a couple of old bangers it was even between drivers seat and door your all upset because its not your norm try driving a car with no hand break ive pottered about on here a few times now its still all here you've just got to take a slightly diffrent route I've even changed my avatar even though its telling me no icon up the top what ever that is ,it seems I'm still going to be able to wind most of you up with my negative and argumentative comments currently bored with tracks and wheels so have been playing with thoes wingy things so that will give the armour guys a rest whilst I poke the wingy guys look if I can post nothings changed im learning a slightly diffrent way of going about it if I can man up so can you.
ps dont like the pic/silly little thumbnails but as has been pointed out its still under warranty their working on it.

Completely agree Dave. There are some very childish comments and beaviour occurring from people who I assume are old enough to know better.

Posted something similar on another thread Dave. Why do people insist on throwing the baby out with the bath water when they are not spoon fed absolutely everything. If you flounce off somewhere else you will most likely end up somewhere where everything is all new and no one knows you. If you grow a pair, start looking around, put some effort in, and stay here, everything will still be new, but the other members will know you and be more inclined to help. Seems a no brainer to me……
As to cars with no hand brake, great aren’t they……add in a good automatic gearbox and driving becomes fun again…..

I have driven an automatic car for 30+ years and find it so easy. My current car has a 7 speed auto box, smooth as silk and I'm never in the wrong gear. Hill starts are a doddle and you can't stall the engine. The handbrake is a little switch.

Yep, right up until parts of your body start failing you……try using a clutch continuously in traffic when your left knee is swollen like a balloon. Besides, mine’s got flappy paddles, a sport mode, double kick down, a manual gearbox option, and various suspension options…..why do I need to go back to hair shirt technology to get my fun ?. To be honest though I tend to leave it in full auto (including lights, wipers, and mirrors) and just point and steer….

Weirdly mine doesn’t have that option, just normal cruise control. Doesn’t have DAB radio either. It was built at the time when those were still optional extras. Everything else came as standard. I’ve had it about ten years now and it still drives like new…..
