An explanation of the buttons please

As a newbie I struggled to figure out the difference between a thumbs up, a tick and a smiley face. Okay, over a few weeks it gradually becomes apparent when reading the threads. However, I think it would be very helpful if the site included a key as to what they exactly mean. I still have no idea what the rainbow is for, or the spanner or the brush.

Just press each one, see what it is..... Then "undo" it, til you get the right one

Keith, the pushpin is " noted ", the rainbow is "optimistic", the heart is " friendly", the paintbrush is " creative ", and the spanner is " useful ".

I hadn't thought of that. It wasn't me who posted that question, it was a big boy that did it then he ran away.

Thanks Patrick, that is very helpful. I thought the rainbow may be for great colours, the brush for great paintwork

And the spanner for great build. Just goes to show doesn't it, what may seem obvious to one may be miles apart from what someone else is thinking. Just like me and my wife.

I think that goes for men & women in general Keith!

If there's a bargain model kit, mine goes curiously deaf, but if they're shoes on sale ... all of a sudden we've the money to buy them "just this once! "

If you hold your pointer over the icon for a couple of seconds a 'pop up' appears which tells you what the icon means.

Richard beat me to it, but as he said, if you hold the pointer over the icon, it will tell you what they are for.

That's fine if you are using a computer but I rarely do these days, I just use my iPod, more convenient.
