If your really really stuck to get back to the thread your interested in, I put it in to my favourites on the computer. But as you nav through the site it gets a little easier.I am a afraid I don't come on the S.M now as I prefer the forum at Model Boats.co.uk but S.M. is a great site to be a member of.

    Good Luck

      Latest Change

Since the change to the latest format, I have come across an anomaly. When I logged on for this session the welcome message said that there had been 16 new posts since my last visit at 08:11 30-06-05. When I go to "new posts" I get told there are no new posts. Obviously one of those stories is incorrect. Which one?

It is now saying 1 post since last visit and 23 in the last 24 hours. I believe the first statement (am assuming it was my post) but the 23 certainly aren't evident when looking through the topic list.

It is probably right, there is a private forum for moderators and we have been posting in that a lot, but it shouldn't include them, obviously it does, I will look in to it

*** The Mods ( not Rockers !!) have been trying to sort out material for this impending competition,it is too good an offer to loose and there has been more activity these past few days there than in months ! watch this space as they say.

*** Duncan, there was once advertised in 'Flight' magzine a luxury Catalina amphibian conversion with diving boards on the wings, full luxury interior, cocktail bar with revolving seats that lock for flight, finished in aqua green and white, could you use this for commuting between your fantasy island and the mainland ? it sounded ideal for your application.

Is it possible, to have a Tank section ? covering all scales to RC ? or has this been tried before and failed. I thought of military but that would cover a wide range of models, like boats and planes and vehicles, which has already been done. I must admit it was hard to locate Tanks, where to read posts, information about them or post replies and start threads ? when first approaching the site and navigating around, general automobiles doesn't jump out as the Tank slot. So you spend time looking around for the Tanks which could put people off thinking tanks are not covered on this site. Or maybe a tank link that would take you to general automobiles.

                      Mike.

I don't mind adding additional forums as long as they get some use, I've just removed some that had very little of no use to try and make it easier for people to find things, that said I'm always open to suggestions and have added a Tanks forum for you, and later on, maybe today I might add a military models forum, I will see how many posts there are regarding various military models what I don't want to have is loads of forums with just a few posts in them.

                          Thank-you :clap3:

That is much appreciated. and for the quick way you answered the question and then put it into the forum. I will certainly try to make it work. But i do understand, no feet through the door, close the door and lock it.

                          Always liked the fireworks smilies
